Nina Ambroziak honoured with an award at the Play Therapy International conference!
At the recent Play Therapy International conference, held this time in Weston, UK, on 18 June 2022, Nina Ambroziak was honoured with a crystal award for her outstanding contribution to the practice and development of the Play Therapy profession ('For Outstanding Contributions to the Profession') through her voluntary and therapeutic work with Ukrainian refugee children.
It is worth mentioning that this activity continues in cooperation with Play Therapy therapists in Poland and abroad. Indeed, Polish Play Therapy practitioners, through their work and commitment, have become a model for Play Therapy therapists around the world, i.e. wherever there are refugee children from Ukraine.
Play Therapy International continues to support the work and further professional development of Polish Play Therapy therapists by providing access to Play Therapy training in working with therapy groups so that Polish practitioners can begin therapy with groups involving Ukrainian children as soon as possible.
I am extremely grateful to Play Therapy International for this award. The feeling of doing good for children and inspiring Play Therapy practitioners around the world to take action makes me happy and motivated to pursue more goals and ideas.
